Not only is he seen on the CBS Early Show, but he also runs his own business as a corporate trainer and consultant, conducting seminars on numerous topics including, conflict management, team building, practical negotiation and public speaking ( www.triwhale.com ).

Rich is from and currently lives in Newport, Rhode Island, with his partner, Mark Ranslem, a political cartoonist, and his adopted son, Christopher.

Rich's Many Concerns

Horizon Bound, an outdoor adventure for teens,
whose purpose is "to foster the development of
self-esteem and confidence in teenagers (ages 14-19) through a variety of challenging outdoor programs (involving canoeing, hiking, mountain climbing, etc.) all meant to encourage inter-dependence [and] shared responsibility.." Rich is the director to help finance the kind of structured, outdoor adventure experience that turned his life around as a troubled teenager.
